1. The vocals were spot-on, and I adored the acoustic interpretations of all the tracks, particularly Uninvited, which I had underestimated compared to the plugged-in edition - I stood corrected!
2. On my third encounter with Tomahawk performing live, she was as outstanding as always! The intimate and acoustic setup was delightful, as I relished listening to her chuckle and share anecdotes between tunes - she's a remarkable individual with a delightful sense of humor :)
3. The main reason this fell short of a 5-star rating: THE AUDIENCE. This was, unequivocally, the most impolite gathering I've ever encountered. Numerous individuals were rising from their seats (prompting everyone in their row to stand up and let them pass) to grab snacks in the middle of songs - and not just a handful, we're talking about dozens of people disrupting every song! Folks were engrossed in their phones, conversing loudly, and giggling DURING performances. Altercations erupted on at least 3-4 occasions. One person found it amusing to yell "DAVE COULIER!" while Tomahawk was conversing between songs. Completely inappropriate conduct. It was embarrassing to be present among such a discourteous audience.
4. A specific cluster of girls behind us seemed like they had just stepped off the set of Jersey Shore. They appeared to only recognize the Jagged Little Pill hits and nothing else, as they texted, chatted, and laughed incessantly. However, when You Oughta Know commenced, they bellowed AT THE TOP OF THEIR VOICES. The issue was, they were belting out the wrong lyrics...at the wrong junctures. Eventually, a gentleman couldn't tolerate it any longer and confronted them, saying, "Excuse me, are you performing on stage?" Their reaction was predictable, and they persisted, resorting to using derogatory terms about the man and his companions. To their merit, they disregarded the girls and refrained from escalating the situation - I'm uncertain if I could have shown the same composure. Honestly, a Tomahawk concert in 2026 is presumed to be a place where one wouldn't anticipate hearing individuals employing offensive language! Unacceptable.
